Masseter Botulinum injections
Involves injecting Botulinum into the masseter muscle, which is one of the several muscles responsible for chewing.

This will block nerve signals to the muscle, causing it to relax.

This treatment is commonly used in the following cases:

Teeth Grinding: It treats teeth grinding, medically known as bruxism, by decreasing the grinding force and frequency, and minimizing pain.
Jaw Pain and Clenching: It helps in reducing jaw tension, pain, and clenching.
Headaches: It relieves tension headaches, which are often associated with temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD).

Contouring a Square Jaw: It can soften the shape of the face, making it appear slimmer by reducing the size of the jaw muscles.
The effects are temporary and usually last 3 to 4 months. To maintain the results, the procedure needs to be repeated.
